LEGGE, Edward – Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Thursday, December 19, 2019, Edward Legge of Sweet Bay, aged 89 years. Predeceased by his parents Maurice and Susannah; siblings Margaret, Michael, Joseph and John. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Justina of 56 years; children Michael, David (Wendy), Brian (Annette), Gwendolyn and Jennifer (Luke); grandchildren Kaitlyn, Braeden, Brooklyn and Nathan; sister Mary Quinton; brother William Legge (Rose); and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at the Roman Catholic Church, Sweet Bay after 2:00 p.m. on Saturday December 21 and Sunday, December 22. Funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 23, 2019 at the Roman Catholic Church, Sweet Bay with interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Sweet Bay. In his memory donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
