84 years, passed away suddenly on Friday, December 20, 2019 at the Erie Shores Healthcare. Loving husband of Maria Abbruzzese for 59 years. Beloved son of the late Antonio Abbruzzese and Assunta Abbruzzese. Dear father of Teresa Williams (nee Abbruzzese)(Magon), Franco Abbruzzese (Carmela), Riccardo Abbruzzese (Angela) and Arduino Abbruzzese Jr. Proud Nonno of Zachary (Allysha), Drew, Jade, Alexia, Haley, Katrina, Cody, Sydney, Chloe. Proud Great Nonno to Atlas. Proud step-grandfather to 7 grandchildren. Dear brother to Giovanni Abbruzzese (Teresa) and Eugenio Abbruzzese (Nancy). Predeceased by his brothers Guiseppi Abbruzzese (Mamie), Luigi Abbruzzese (Nancy) and his sister Lucia De Lellis. Brother-in-law to Sylvano Carlini (Pierra), Rosanna Colasanti (Andy), Fiorenzo Carlini (Maria), Floriana Carlini (Venecio). Predeceased by his brother-in-law Domenico Carlini (Lisa) and Alberto Carlini (Dora). He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at Reid Funeral Home and Reception Centre, 14 Russell Street, Leamington on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Monday, December 23, 2019 at St. Michael’s Church from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of the Resurrection at 10:30 am. Entombment to follow at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, Leamington. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
