Eric Koehn, resident of Dawson Creek, passed away on November 3, 2019 at the age of 84.
Eric was born in 1935 in Pomerania, Germany where he trained as an ironworker, and immigrated to Canada in 1956. He worked as a cowboy, a beekeeper, and construction worker. He loved the outdoors and spent many years exploring the back country around the Sukunka and Burnt Rivers and Tumbler Ridge. His passion was lifting weights, and he promoted it any chance he got.
He is survived by three children and seven grandchildren. Interment will be held at a later date. Expression of sympathy may be made by donation to the BC Children Hospital, 938 West 28th Avenue, Vancouver BC V5Z 4H4.
