William “Bill” M. Sears
1932-2019
It is with sadness we announce the
peaceful passing of William “Bill” M.
Sears, age 87, of Aulac.
Bill passed away at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on
Thursday, November 21, 2019, surrounded by his loving
family.
Born in Midgic, NB, he was a son of the
late Merville and Lillian (Crossman) Sears.
He was an avid reader and outdoorsman.
Bill loved to be outside, whether it was fishing and hunting, or just
tinkering in HIS building and in his garden.
He will be dearly missed by his wife
Louise (nee Phinney), Aulac, NB; children Terry (Brenda MacGregor),
Amherst, NS, Brenda (David) Redgers, Burlington, ON and Debbie Sears,
Sackville; grandchildren Christopher, Amanda, Michael, Tina and Laura;
great grandchildren, including Ashley, Kai and Caden; one great great
granddaughter Gabrielle; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers
Forrest and Ernie; sisters Mildred Richardson and Betty
Trenholm.
Arrangements have been entrusted to
Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St.,
Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) where visiting hours will be held on
Monday, November 25, from 1 to 2 pm, followed immediately by his
funeral service at 2 pm, Life Celebrant Scott Balser
officiating. Burial
will follow in the Midgic Cemetery.
Those wishing to make a donation in
Bill’s memory may do so to the Midgic Baptist Church, the Midgic
Cemetery, or the charity of your choice.
