It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stan Matecki on November 7, 2019 at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Elizabeth Matecki (née Della Nebbia) for 37 years. Cherished father of Jessica (John), Andrea and Matthew and loving grandfather to Rose. Dear brother to Kaz (Helen) and Henry (Nancy). Treasured son-in-law to Ada (late Ernesto) and predeceased by his parents Irene and Stanley. Stan will be deeply missed by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, friends, neighbours and associates.
He recently retired from a position as National Sales Manager at Acument Global Technologies, a job he did with pride and excellence. His passion for hockey, golf, cars and family vacations was evident to all.
Special thanks to the staff at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital for their excellent care. Stan’s love and dedication to family binds us forever.
Visitation will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 1010 Botanical Drive, BURLINGTON (905-527-0405) on Monday, November 11, 2019 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. Funeral Service will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 11:00 am in the Bay Gardens Chapel followed by Celebration of Life at The Royal Botanical Gardens Rock Garden located at 1185 York Blvd, Waterdown. Parking for the Rock Garden is located across the street from the venue, on the left side of York Blvd.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Oakville Trafalgar Hospital are welcome.
