Richard’s Obituary
Keddy, Richard Norwood ~ age 80 of Greenwood, NS passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at home. Born in New Ross, he was a son of the late Albert and Eva (Illsley) Keddy. Richard retired as an auto body mechanic. He enjoyed word search books, playing cards, country music and hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Judith “Faye” (Salsman); daughter, Brenda (Gary) Spinney, Kingston; sons, David Keddy (Shelly Reid), Burlington; Wayne Keddy, Greenwood; brothers, Robert (Barbara) Keddy, Sarnia, ON; Kenneth Connors, Simcoe, ON; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Timothy; granddaughter, Amanda; sister, Agnes Jordan and brother, Philip Keddy. In keeping with Richard’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, November 16th in Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill with Pastor Gerry Bezanson officiating. By request, family flowers only please. Donations in memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association of Nova Scotia.
