With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our precious soul, Peggy, on Monday, November 25, 2019, at the young age of ninety. Loving and devoted wife of the late Max. Best mom of Alan and Heather, Rosanne, and George. Exceptional Bubbie of Darren and Lindsay, Lisa and Patrick, Harley, Brandon Bousquet (Krissy); Jordan, and Dana. Loving Big Bubbie of Emmett Max, Jonah, Adlai, Ford, and Damon. Dear sister of Evelyn Wilson (the late Harvey), Doug Clark (the late Betty), Beverley Lashuk (Sam), the late Mary Crawford Synott (the late Dick Crawford, Wayne Synott), the late John Clark, the late George Clark Jr. (the late Marg), the late Thelma Therrien (the late Bill); and sister-in-law of the late Reva Cantor (the late Dave Guttman, the late Edward Cantor), the late Clara Schrier (the late Abe). Daughter of the late George and the late Mary Clarke. Special aunt to her many nieces and nephews and their families. She will be missed by her long-time family friend Monty Wener, and by all who knew and loved her. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses, social workers and staff of 4 South at the Lakeshore General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Wednesday, November 27 at 12:00 p.m. Burial at Montreal Workers’ Circle Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her son’s home, 18 Westpark D.D.O., Wednesday following burial until 9:00 p.m., Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Saturday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Evening services at 7:30 p.m. Contributions in her memory may be made to Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation, (514) 630-2081.
