Pearl Jones 19242019

Pearl Jones
1924-2019
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Pearl D.
Jones on November 5, 2019 at Paradise Villa. Born on November 27,
1924, in Halifax, NS, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and
Eileen (McDonald) Jones and the loving wife of the late Frederick
Charles Jones.
Pearl was a caring and loving mother, grandmother and great
grandmother. Being a military spouse meant that she moved from
location to location while raising her family, in particular Canada
and Germany. She did this with grace and was always there
for her children and husband. Pearl settled in the Burton area, and
attended St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, when she was able. 6
years ago when Paradise Villa opened their doors, Pearl was one of
their first residents and has been with them ever since. She
had a great sense of humor, loved to sing and was very witty. Others
would also describe her as fiery and full of spunk. It comes to no
surprise that she was a much loved resident of Paradise
Villa.
Pearl is survived by her son, Gary Jones; grandchildren,
Kevin (Brittany) and Shawn (Kate); great grandchildren, Jasmine,
Briona, KiKi, Deacon and a new one to come.
In addition to her parents and husband, Pearl is predeceased
by daughter, Debbie Amos; son-in-law, Karl Amos; sister, Marilyn
Hennessey; as well as brothers, Joe, Don and Pat Jones.
Arrangements are incomplete at this time.
