Obituary of Paul Symynshen
We announce the sudden passing of Paul Symynshen at the Sault Area Hospital on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at the age of 93. He leaves behind his lovely bride, Valerie of 73 years, who now resides at Cedarwood Lodge. Adored father of son Donald and daughter Judy Symynshen and special buddy/son-in-law Mike Farrell. Son of the late Dmytro and Maria (Zolob) Symynshen of Manitoba. Paul is predeceased by his 9 brothers and sisters; he was the last surviving sibling. He will be remembered and sadly missed by his in-laws in Manitoba, all his nieces and nephews, neighbours and friends. Paul was a skilled mechanic and owned a service station in Bruce Mines and in Sault Ste. Marie. He enjoyed owning multiple apartment buildings and had built lasting relationships with many of his tenants. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Monday, November 4, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to SAH Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Special thanks to all the staff at the SAH 3B and especially Lisa from Housekeeping.
