Montreal, QC- Luc Cormier, 53, formerly of Bouctouche, NB, passed away in Quebec, on October 22, 2019.
Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Édouard and Bertha Cormier (born Babineau).
Luc will be missed by his mother of Bouctouche, his two sisters, Marie-France Fontaine (Ronald) of Bouctouche and Lise Richard (Paul-Émile) of Quispamsis; his three brothers, Pierre of Bouctouche, Paul of Montreal and Samuel (Shavonne Lannon) of Ellsworth, ME; his three nieces, four nephews, one great-niece and two great-nephews. Luc also leaves his dear friend Monique LeBlanc of Bouctouche.
He was predeceased by his brother Jean, in 1978, and by his father Édouard, in 2006.
Luc studied recording arts at the Montreal Trebas Institute. He worked many years as a truck driver for Midland. He was very interested in photography and excelled in works requiring dexterity and meticulousness.
Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Saturday, November 9th, 2019, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. Beginning at 11:30 am, Rev. Father Robert Savoie will preside a Liturgy of the Word. Interment will take place at the Saint-Jean-Baptiste cemetery in Bouctouche.
