It is with a mixture of sadness and joy that we announce our mother Jean Spence has passed on to be with her husband Frank. Jean is survived by her son Melvin (Kathleen) Spence, and daughters Edna (Rick) Trombinski, Phylis Anderson, June (Ron) Johnson and Margaret (Bruce) Forbes. She also leaves behind to remember her, 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Jean was the middle child of a family of thirteen. She was predeceased by all of her brothers and sisters except Earl Willsey and Ellen Thompson. Frank and Jean started their life together on a farm at Hinton Trail, Alberta where they raised their children. They left the farm in 1971 finally settling in Spruce Grove. After Frank died in 2005, Jean moved into a Continuing Care facility in Stony Plain where she remained until her death. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
