Obituary
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mom, Jean Logan. Mom was born in Burns Lake, BC in 1937 and slipped away peacefully on Nov 6, 2019 in Smithers.
Mom lived most of her life in the Bulkley Valley. She was a hardworking, strong and independent lady. She worked many hours volunteering for the Seniors and loved playing cards with her kids, grandchildren and her card playing friends. She and dad enjoyed many wonderful years at their cabin at Babine Lake. We will all cherish these special memories.
Jean leaves behind her children Brian, Gwen (Matt), Merle (Debbie), Lianne (Dave), and Michele; 10 grandchildren, Santania (Ryan), Sydney, Tristan, Nathan (Alexa), Jerome (Katelyn), Marie, Ryan, Merissa (Alex), Travis (Nicole), and Jared; 7 great grandchildren, Chase, Lorelai, Jayce, Haley, Willow, Liam and Parker.
Jean is survived by her brother Jamie and sister Cathy. She was predeceased by her husband, Arden, son Roger and grandson Deven, as well as her parents Jack & Edna Mould, sister Avis & brother Denny.
We would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Preto and the 3rd floor nurses and support staff, as well as the many wonderful home care workers that have helped mom in many ways over the last 6 months.
A Memorial Service will be held on Nov 16, 2019 at 2 pm in the Pioneer Place Activity Center.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jean’s memory, to the Smithers Seniors Association, Box 4143, Smithers, BC V0J 2N0.
