A Holocaust Survivor
Peacefully, on Saturday, November 23, 2019, in his ninety-fourth year. Beloved husband of Chasa Goldberg for sixty-five years. Loving father and father-in-law of Toby and Elie Oliel, Benjamin and Eunice Preszow. Cherished Zaidie of Erica, Tania and Gad, Stefanie and David, Natasha; Kayla, and the late Jennifer. Proud great-grandfather of Elias Mordechai, Lev Yosef, Elad Haim, Zackay, Abraham, Isac, and Alya. Predeceased by his ten siblings. Israel will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, November 26 at 3:00 p.m. Burial at the King Edward Benefit Association Section, Back River Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Berri St. Shiva at his home. Donations in Israel’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
