Ilde Rusich
Passed away with family by her side on November 14, 2019 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Ouellette Campus, in her 98th year. Predeceased by her late husband Amedeo (1981). Beloved mother of the late Laila (the late Emidio) Simone (1994) and Nevi Rusich. Adored Nonna of Emi (William) Koopman, and Lisa (Roy) Sharda. Cherished Bisnonna of Lliam, Hunter, Aidan, and Cara Koopman; and Nina, Aryan, and Laila Sharda. Loving sister of Delci Bertolo, who is still living in Italy in her 100th year, and predeceased by her sisters Anna Pupulin of Windsor, Claudina Chiappetti of France, and Maria Pezzi of Italy. Ilde will be missed by many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends in Windsor, the USA, Italy, and France. Ilde was a talented seamstress and an avid gardener.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the St. Anthony of Padua Mission Aid (1320 Leslie St., Suite 100, Toronto, ON M3C 2K9) would be appreciated by the family.
Visiting on Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 4-8 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 5:30 p.m. at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841.
On Friday, November 22, 2019 family and friends are invited to gather directly at St. Angela Merici Church, 980 Louis Ave., Windsor, for a Mass in Celebration of Ilde’s Life to begin at 9:30 a.m.
Procession to Heavenly Rest Cemetery for Entombment to follow.
