Greta Dorothy Johnson- Born
January 9, 1947 to the late Harold and Ellen Meisner, Lake Centre, NS,
passed away on November 25, 2019 surrounded by her family in South
Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
Greta was full of life, from gardening, building, yard work;
when she finally sat down she would admire her wonderful collection of
hummingbirds. Another wonderful pastime she enjoyed was clapping and
stomping her feet at various music jams.
She is survived by her husband Larry Johnson; mother in-law
Roxie; step-children Jack (Avis), James and Jennifer;
step-grandchildren Kale, Dustin, Damon, Madison and Tiffany; brothers
Meril (Linda), Gerald (Vonie), Bridy (Wendy), Lindon, Cecil
(Jackie) and Vernon; sisters Betty, Christine, Laverne
(Peter) and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister
Darlene; brother Gregory in infancy; sister-in-law Barbara;
brothers-in-law Philip and Carleton.
There will be a graveside service in Pleasantville Cemetery
at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your
choice Arrangements are under the direction of the R.A. Corkum Funeral
Home, Wileville, where on-line condolences may be made by visiting
www.corkumfuneralhome.ca .
Her family would like to extend heartfelt appreciation to Dr.
McNally, the South Shore Palliative Care Services and all the nurses
on the 3rd floor at South Shore
Regional Hospital.
