Obituary for
Frederick (Fred) Ziegler
We are heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of Fred Ziegler on November 24, 2019 at the age of 69 years.
Fred was a wonderful man. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed. Our Fred was a smart, kind, gentle, easy-going man who dearly loved his friends, music, travelling and a beer and a bite at the Hilltop.
Fred is survived by his good friend, Sharon; his big sister, Shirley (Gerry); brother-in-law, Stan; sister-in-law, Lynn; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Richard and Mimi Ziegler; brother, Richard; sister, Rose; and three infant siblings; Rolf, Margaret and Betty; and niece, Sharlene.
The family is eternally grateful to everyone who helped support Fred as he lived independently at home with Alzheimer’s Disease.
A Celebration of Fred’s Life will be held Monday, December 2 at 10:00 a.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 16102 Fort Road, Edmonton.
