It is with great sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Father, Papa, Uncle and Friend, David Allan Kozak.
After a lengthy battle, David’s resolve and bravery were unsurpassed. He fought with light and humour until the early morning of Nov. 27th, 2019.
He will be greatly missed by so many friends and family, his wife Maryann (nee Smith), daughter Denise Pearce (Dennis), sons David Kozak (Danielle), Dennis Kozak and his little pup Roxy. Missed by his grandchildren Haley, Sydney, Abby and Raegan.
Dave dedicated his life and love to his family, took great pride in his 30+ years at Stelco and stood standing as the last of the greats in the yard as a YardMaster.
We are celebrating Dave’s life at Bay Gardens Funeral Home – “William J. Markey Chapel”, 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON (905.574.0405) on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm followed by a Memorial Service in the Chapel at 3:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers and for those who wish, memorial donations made to Diabetes Canada would be appreciated.
