McInnes, Cheryl Anne
passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Friday November 22 2019 surrounded by the love of her family at the early age of 54. She was the loving mom, best friend (and partner in crime) to her daughter Amelia (John) van Herk. She was the doting, proud gramma to Lane and Cash van Herk. Cheryl was predeceased by her other best friend, her mother, Margaret McInnes and her father Gerald McInnes. She will be sadly missed by her step-father Chris Cullen. Cheryl was the loved sister of Tom (Kim) McInnes, Stuart (Denyel) McInnes, and the late Randy McInnes. She was the cherished aunt to Caitlyn McInnes (Trevor Caesar), Brandon McInnes, Amanda McInnes, Kelly (Scott) Thorman and Melissa (Kevin) Wolfe. She was also a special great aunt to Robbie, Tommy and Allie Thorman, Connor and Chloe Rose McInnes. Cheryl is also going to be missed by her aunts and uncles and many cousins as well as her friends.
Friends may pay their respects at Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth, on Wednesday November 27th, 2019 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Cheryl’s Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, November 28th, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. Interment to follow at Hopetown Cemetery. In honour of Cheryl contributions to the Canadian Liver Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
