Derk, age 95, went to be with the Lord on November 10, 2019. He leaves behind his daughter Wilma Cheshire; his sons Jim Bouwsema, Peter Bouwsema, and Bill Bouwsema; as well as his fourteen grandchildren and his nine great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 10:00 am at Kelowna Christian Reformed Church, 239 Snowsell St N, Kelowna, BC.
