Obituary of Serge Binette
BINETTE, Serge – Passed away suddenly at the Chapleau General Hospital on Monday, November 4, 2019 at the age of 75 years. Beloved husband of the late Thérèse Lessard Binette. Loving father of Nathalie (Richard) Marceau and Denis Binette (Anne Duhaime). Proud grandfather of Félicia, Henri-Philippe, Gabriel, Claire, Geoffrey and Nolan. Dear son of the late Francis and the late Gertrude Binette. Dear brother of late Gérald Binette (Colette), Gemma Trahan (late Réal), Majoric Binette (Pierrette), late Raymond Binette (Lise), Jean-Roch Binette (Irène) and Pierre-André Binette (Micheline Desrosiers). Serge will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place at River’s Edge Cremation Centre, Sault Ste. Marie. A private family celebration of life will take place at a later date. Memorial donations made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family. BINETTE, Serge – Décédé subitement à l’hôpital général de Chapleau, le lundi 4 novembre 2019 à l’âge de 75 ans. Époux bien-aimé de feue Thérèse Lessard Binette. Père bien-aimé de Nathalie (Richard) Marceau et Denis Binette (Anne Duhaime). Grand-papa de Félicia, Henri-Philippe, Gabriel, Claire, Geoffrey et Nolan. Fils de feu Francis et de feue Gertrude Binette. Frère de feu Gérald Binette (Colette), Gemma Trahan (feu Réal), Majoric Binette (Pierrette), feu Raymond Binette (Lise), Jean-Roch Binette (Irène) et Pierre-André Binette (Micheline Desrosiers). Se souviendront de lui ses nombreux neveux et nombreuses nièces. L’incinération a eu lieu au River’s Edge Cremation Centre, Sault Ste. Marie. Une célébration de la vie aura lieu privément à une date ultérieure. Des dons commémoratifs à l’endroit la Fondation Ontarienne des maladies du cœur et de l’AVC seraient grandement appréciés par la famille.
