Obituary of William (Bill) Thomas Bentley
BENTLEY- William (Bill) Thomas of Port Colborne, passed away at the Welland County General Hospital on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband of Eleanor (née Cochrane), loving father of Robert, Thomas (Jan) and the late Janet Fogolin (2019), dear grandfather of Erin Bentley, Katherine (Steven) Somerset, Adam (Sarah) Bentley, Arlen Fogolin, Eleanor Fogolin, Trevor (Jen) Bentley and Elise Bentley, great grandfather of Maddison, Clarke, Gwen, Bentley, Callum, Westyn and Harper, brother of Margaret and Barbara. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Bill was always interested in sports, playing football, coaching baseball and spent many years coaching minor hockey in Port Colborne. He was an avid golfer. Cremation has taken place. The Bentley family will receive visitors at the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME, 135 Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. Family interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.
