William “Bill” John Ballard
On September 28, 2019, William John “Bill” Ballard of Whitecourt, AB, passed away at the age of 90 years.
Bill is survived by his children, Jack Ballard of Mayerthorpe, Marilyn (Charlie) Foster of Mayerthorpe, David (Leona) Ballard of Edmonton and Brian (Angela) Ballard of Spirit River; grandchildren, Ray, Bonnie (Richard), Sheldon (Natasha), Christopher, Allison (Fran), Candace, Crystal and Bradley; great-grandchildren, Will, Lillian, Caleb, Callie, Alessandro, Conor, Antonio, Alyssa, Liam, Rayne, Danny, Elleanna, Zoe and Violet; brother, Theodore (Fran); sisters, Elizabeth, Patricia, and Sharon (Elias); sister-in-law, Peggy; and many dear relatives and friends. Predeceased by his wife, Val (2017); son, Lyndon; grandson, Steven; parents, William and Ruby; brothers, Stan, and Don (Vivian) and brothers-in-law, Bill and Oliver.
Thank you to Dr. Halladay and staff of the Whitecourt Healthcare Centre and staff of Spruce View Lodge for the loving care and attention shown to Bill and the family.
Memorial Service Monday, October 7 at 1:00 p.m. at Whitecourt United Church, 5201 – 50 Street, Whitecourt, with Reverend Rita Milne officiating. Private inurnment.
In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to Friends of Whitecourt Society, Box 1101, Whitecourt, AB T7S 1P1.
