Tony Thomlinson
THOMLINSON, Tony – January 4, 1948 – October 14, 2019. Tony passed away peacefully in Ottawa at the Montfort hospital, with family by his side on Monday, October 14, 2019. Loved brother of Earle (Jude), Brian (Donna), Donnamarie, Patrick (late Layton) and Sandra. Predeceased by his parents Stan and Doreen (nee Ovington) and brother Bill. Special uncle to Michael, Jennifer, Angela, Brandon, Danica and Joe. Thanks to the staff at Rothwell Heights and Bruyere-St. Vincent’s, Ottawa. A very special thank you to Montfort Hospital ICU for their care of Tony in his final days. Following Tony’s wishes there will be a small Graveside Service taking place on Monday, October 21, 2019 at 1pm at Blessed Sacrament Cemetery (1L0, County Rd 1, Lombardy, ON). Friends and family are invited to celebrate Tony’s life at Blair and Son Funeral Home (112 Beckwith St. N., Smiths Falls) following the interment from 2-4pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Open Doors, Smiths Falls.
