PARENTEAU, Robert John passed away peacefully at the Belleville General Hospital on Thursday, October 3, 2019, age 85 years. Bob Parenteau of Brighton, long time member of the Knights of Columbus. Predeceased by his wife, the late Barbara (Houghton) and son Michael Parenteau. Leaving to mourn his wife and best friend Sheila (Newhook). Dear father of Mark, and grandfather of Daniel and Ilona. Step-father of Terry (JoAnn), Denise (André), Rhonda, and step-grandfather of Charlotte, Mason, and Merralees. Brother of the late George Parenteau. The family will receive friends at the Brighton Funeral Home, 130 Main Street, Brighton, on Monday, October 7 from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Angels Roman Catholic Church, 40 Centre Street, Brighton on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation with Interment at Mount Hope Cemetery.
