Peacefully at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg on Sunday October 6th, 2019 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of late Kathy McMurtrie. Loving father of Aubrey Andrus (Adam) and Jason McMurtrie (Chris). Grandfather of Isaac Andrus, and Hayley Andrus. Brother of Susan Watt, and Charlie McMurtrie. Bert will also be missed by his very close friend Jo-Anne Koetje (Tom).
A Celebration of life will be held on Wednesday October 16, 2019 from 6 – 9 pm at the Port Hope Masonic Temple, 54 Toronto Rd., Port Hope, ON.
Memorial donations to The Northumerberland Hills Hospital Foundation would be appreciated and may be received at www.rossfuneralchapel.com
