Richard ‘Rick’ Turner 2019

Turner: Richard ‘Rick’
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Richard ‘Rick’ Turner on Sunday, October 20, 2019 in his 78th year. Rick was pre-deceased by his mother Audrey, and his father Lloyd. Beloved husband of Dianne for 53 years. Loving father of Lori and Paul. Cherished grandfather of Julia and Elizabeth. Will be sadly missed by brother-in-law Larry (Mim) Hunt of Kelowna, and sister-in-law Marilyn (Floyd) Cooper of Hamilton, as well as nieces and nephews in Ontario,… Read More » B.C. and Australia. Rick will be dearly missed by his cousin Barbara (Paul) McCallum of Oakville and by loyal friends of many years. His “Lap Dog”, Kirby, held a special place in his heart and will know his best friend is no longer here.
With courage, determination and never a complaint, Rick faced his many health challenges over the years. He was an avid reader and sports fan who could always be counted on to cheer loudly for his beloved Leafs and Tiger-Cats.
Visitation will be held at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 2-5 p.m. In keeping with Rick’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations to the War Amps of Canada in Rick’s memory would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Richard ‘Rick’ Turner 2019..
