Raymond (Ray) Michael Mackie passed away suddenly at Kingston General Hospital with his loving wife by his side. Ray was born in Oshawa on April 19, 1951. He worked for GM for 33 years and retired in 2004. Loving husband and best friend of Sheila (Fice) for 46 years. He is survived by his brother Alan (Shirley)of Oshawa & sisters Marlene Stetski of Inisfil & Laurie Mackie of Minden. Brother in Law of Andy Fice. Survived by his neices & nephews Todd (Steph) Mackie, Beth & Cian Anderson, Melissa Mackie & Rain (Bronwin) Fice. Predeceased by his parents Stewart & Margaret Mackie & his in-laws Bill & Dorothy Fice. Predeceased by nephews Jeff & Randy Stetski, Dwayne Mackie, Aaron Fice & neice Reanna Fice. Ray was a lifelong horse lover and showed paint horses for over 40 years. He was an avid poker player & will be greatly missed by his poker buddies. He will be missed by his dog Roxie who he loved dearly & extended family George & Mayte San Pedro. Rays request was to be cremated & have no funeral but a celebration of his life will be held at Lakeland Funeral Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay on Sunday, October 20 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers please donate to the charity of your choice.
