Obituary for
Nora Aldea Marston (Flynn)
It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of our mother (the Boss) Nora Marston at the age of 89, due to complications from diabetes. Pre-deceased by her loving husband Charles Vance Marston (Feb. 2002), former husband Wilfrid Mattice (March 2010), her father Louis Flynn and mother Laurenda Rethier as well as sisters Helen Carey and Rita Green. Loving Mother to Christine O’Hara (Edward) and Claire Nelson (John). Special Grandmother to Candice Mouchet (Paul), Jennifer Nelson (David), Stephanie Fortier (Chris) and fantastic GG to Rylee, Kaiden, Keera, Charley and Max. Nora will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Special thank you to the nursing staff at the Red Oak Retirement Residence Ottawa, especially Martine. Thank you Mom for all you have done. You will always be in our hearts. Friends are invited to visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue (at Richmond Road) on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 10am until time of memorial service in the chapel at 11:30am followed by a reception. A private interment will take place in Wakefield, Quebec at a later date. In lieu of flowers, in Nora’s memory donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
