Nellie Daigle
1925-2019
REXTON, NB – Nellie Daigle 93, of Rexton, NB passed
away peacefully at the Rexton Lions Nursing Home on Thursday, October
24. 2019. Born in Bussum, Holland, she was the daughter of
the late Bart Jansen and late Bertge (Vanderkoii) Jansen.
Nellie was a member of the Richiboucto Legion Branch No. 30 and past
president of the Ladies Auxiliary.
Nellie will be sadly missed by her son, Roland Daigle
(Kathleen) of Aldouane; one granddaughter, Danielle; two great
granddaughters, Elena, Arabella and many nieces and
nephews.
The last surviving member of her immediate family, she was
predeceased by her parents; her husband, Alphonse D. Daigle; one
daughter, Elaine; six sisters, Hermina, Bep, Cornelia, Adriana,
Jannie, Jo and one brother, Bart.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home
in Richibucto on Saturday from 2-4 pm and Sunday 2-4 pm (no evening
visitations). A Funeral Service will be held at
Thompson’s Funeral Home Chapel in Richibucto on Monday,
October 28, 2019 at 11:00 am. Arrangements are in care of
Thompson’s Funeral Home (523-4252).
