Michael Samuel Labonte
On October 23, 2019 at the age of 16, Mikey passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus, his Savior. He will be missed greatly by his family: Harv and Anna Falk, Ashley (Jacob) Nelson with Lilianna, Michele (Jeff) Martens, Brook, Robbie, and Nick Falk, Oma Regehr, Gramma and Grampa, many aunts, uncles, and cousins, Katarina Regehr, Mike Labonte, and all who met him. Mikey was known for his smile, his ability to make others smile, and his love for a good time and laugh.
We extend our gratitude to the staff and volunteers at McMaster Children’s hospital, the Juravinski Cancer Centre and the Ronald McDonald House, for their compassionate care.
We will continue to celebrate God’s faithfulness towards Mikey with visitation on Friday Oct. 25, from 2:00 – 4:00, and 6:00 – 8:00 pm, and a funeral service on Saturday the 25th, at 10:00 am. Both events will take place at Cornerstone Community Church – Orchard Campus located at 434 Hunter Road, Niagara on the Lake. If desired, donations can be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
