Margaret Ruth Smith (nee Heimlech)
Peacefully at the Prince of Wales Manor on Friday, October 25, 2019 at the age of 92.
Dearly beloved husband of Arthur. Smith.
Dear mother of Brian Smith (Sharon), Kathy Hodgson (Don) and Don Smith. Cherished grandmother of Caren (Jordan), Luke, Bethany,Troy, James (Natasha), Rob (Rachel), Amanda, Keely and Fiona.
Devoted great-grandmother of Penny, Molly, Joey, Sophie, Isabelle, Rylee and Tessa.
Ruth will be dearly missed by her twin sister, Edith Ferster.
The Funeral Service will be held at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road, (at Aviation Parkway) Ottawa, on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
