Leaving us with many wonderful memories, we sadly announce the sudden passing of our beloved Madeline (Sis) Kean (nee. Lane) at the age of 75 years.
Predeceased by her loving husband Harold Kean; son Darius; parents Darius and Josephine Lane; sisters: Gertrude Croke (Jim), Therese White (Mike), Kathleen White (Bert), brother Jim; step daughter Olive Warren; son-in-law Lester Best and grandson Meech Kean.
Leaving to mourn her children: Randy (Jennifer), Roger (Charlene) and Raylene (Colin), step children: Enid, Bill (Pat), Dora (Charlie), Melena (Mike), Christine, Wade (Danielle), Pat (Dan); brothers: Harold, Doug (Neta); sister Mary. A large number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchild. A large circle of family and friends especially her best friend Elizabeth Feltham (Lizzie) and special handy-dandy friend and granddaughter Tracy Traverse (Kelly).
In keeping with Madeline’s wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Monday October 7th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. from the Roman Catholic Church, Gambo with refreshments to follow in the parish hall. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made in Madeline’s memory to the Janeway Children’s Hospital Foundation (300 Prince Phillip Drive, St. John’s, NL., A1B 3V6).
