Lilliana Josephine Taylor

Born September 27, 1930 in Trail, BC, died October 4, 2019 in Vancouver, BC.
Predeceased by her parents Angelina and Luigi Marcuzzi, her brother Ricciotti (Dick) Marcuzzi, her sister Mary Capalbo and husband Stan Taylor. She was loved and will be missed by her children Peter (Denise), Margaret (Sam), Donald (Andrea) and grandchildren Michelle (Jarron), Charlotte, Christopher (Michelle), Gabriella (David), Francesca (Mitch), Taylor, Duncan and great grandchildren Damon, Eva, Anabelle and Jackson.
Originally intending to enter medical school, she achieved her BSc in Chemistry in 1953 and her BEd in 1957, both at UBC. She went on to work at Cominco, where she met her husband, and then later taught high school in Rossland and Abbotsford. She also attended UBC as a mature student in pharmacy. She volunteered for many years as choir director and teaching at her parish church. Her greatest joy and vocation was her family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to CNIB (Canadian National Institute for The Blind).
Prayers will be offered on Wednesday, October 9th, 2019 at 7:00 pm at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church (8891 Montcalm Street, Vancouver) where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday October 10th at 11:00 am.
