Obituary for Karen Turner
Karen Ann Turner (nee Shaw) of Wallaceburg passed away peacefully at Riverview Gardens in Chatham on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at the age of 73. Karen is the daughter of the late Gordon and Ruth (Perry) Shaw. Karen was the soul mate of Robert Aarssen and friend of Tom Turner. Beloved mother of Bonnie Jinkerson (Jamie), Diane Dubé (Gilles), Janet Turner and the late Joe Turner. Loving grandmother of Steven (Laura Carter), Casey, Brandon, Joshua (Kristyn Canturiti), Nicole (Andy Bueckart), Ariana(Austin Peters), Brylee, Joel and the late Brian Jr. and step-grandmother to Samantha (Eric Honorkiewicz) & Stephanie Jinkerson, and great grandmother of 12 great grandchildren. Sister of Jim Shaw (Marion), Nancy Broad (Gilbert), Brian Shaw (Elaine) and the late Lindsey (Laura Shaw), Ross (Deb Shaw) and Ronnie Shaw. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Karen had retired from Campbell’s Soup in Chatham and was a former employee of the Chatham Daily News. The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 1 – 3 PM on Saturday, October 5 with the funeral to follow at 3 PM. Interment in Blackburn Cemetery at a later date. If desired, remembrances to the Lung Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation may be left at the funeral home 519.627.3231.
