Judith Marsh
After a courageous battle with
cancer, Judy Marsh passed away on October 21, 2019 with her family by
her side.
Judy Marsh was born on July
16, 1952 in Moncton, NB to Lea and Margaret (Renton) Jones. She was a
registered nurse and received her nursing degree from the
Université de Moncton in 1985, and was in the OR for 43
years at the Moncton Hospital. On October 1, 1977, she married
Sterling Marsh. They raised two children, Ariel and
Aaron.
Judy had a passion for nature
and bird watching and enjoyed being a member of Nature Moncton and the
Westmorland Horticultural Society. She adored music, and loved being a
part of the Greater Moncton Chorale. Judy was known for her kindness
towards everyone and very active in her community through the
Harrisville United Church.
Judy was preceded in death by
her father, Lea, and her mother, Margaret Jones. She is survived by
her husband Sterling, their two children, Ariel (Kevin Fields) and
Aaron (Brittney Durston), her sister Ina Freeman, and her brothers
Brady (Phyllis), Doug (Barb) and Bobby, and several cousins, nieces,
and nephews.
Visitation will take place on
Friday, October 25th, 2019 from 7 to 9 PM at Fergusons Funeral Home,
1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) and the funeral service will be
held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, October 26th, 2019
at 1:30 PM, with Rev. Charlotte Youland officiating. Reception in the
Funeral Home Reception Centre following the
service.
In honour of Judy’s
memory donations may be sent to your local SPCA, Ovarian Cancer
Canada, or an organization of your choice. Online condolences for the
