Passed away at home with family by his side on Wednesday, October 23, 2019. John Truen at the age of 57 proud father of John Truen Jr. (Amanda Richardson) and Teresa Truen (Mitchel Harris). Cherished grandfather of Talia and Nakayda. Devoted son of Lieve McPhee, the late Joseph Truen and step son of the late James McPhee. John will also be remembered by his brother Kevin (Lorrie) Truen and his niece Alexandra and nephew Zachary Truen. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 65 Amelia Street, Barrie on Monday, October 28, 2019 at 2 o’clock. A reception will be held in the Parish Hall following the Funeral Mass. A private family interment will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Care Centre would be appreciated by the family. Messages of condolence may be forwarded to the family through adamsfuneralhome.ca
