Passed peacefully away at the St. Claire’s Hospital, St. John’s, on October 22, 2019, Johanna Veronica Keough, age 74, from Plate Cove. Predeceased by parents, Patrick Francis and Genevieve Furlong and brothers, James and Anthony Furlong. Leaving to mourn with many fond and loving memories are her children, Warren (Stacy), Faye (Terry Fitzgerald) and Owen; grandchildren, Shannon Fitzgerald (Erica), Shane Fitzgerald (Myles) and Amber Keough (Tyler), Joshua (Ashley); great grandson, Hudson; sister, Bernice Furlong and brother, Edward (Regina) Furlong as well as many other relatives and friends.
Cremation has taken place and visitation will take place from St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Plate Cove, on Friday, October 25, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9. Time and date of funeral service will be announced.
