It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our wife, mother and grandmother Shannon (Irma) McAulay on October 21, 2019. She was born in Trail, BC.
Shannon had many talents but her most memorable would be her love for interacting with the public. Throughout her working career she worked at Glenmerry Bowl, Woolco and the downtown Dollar Store. In earlier years she enjoyed bowling and golfing and later the casinos.
Shannon was known for her great sense of humour and her cursing… We are sure everyone that knows her can attest to that.
Shannon was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her husband Allan and three children; Chad (Beth), Tania (Charlie) and Niki, and her seven grandchildren Sedona, Madeline, Kody, Dakota, Payton, Caeleb and Bevynn.
The family would like to thank Dr. Cochrane, Interior Health and Serendipity Support Services over the past few years for making sure Shannon’s needs were taken care of and making it a positive experience.
