Beloved husband of 53 years of Henriette (nee St. Germain) Edwards of Highfalls. Loving father of Victor (Linda), Rose-Ann Sarkioja (Henry) and Angela Lott (Donald). Will be sadly missed by his grandchildren; Justin, Victoria, Austin, Karissa, Karley, Kandice, Dilan, Kierra, Brianna, Curtis and great granddaughter Lilly. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Mabel (nee Beer) Edwards. Dear brother of Sandra McBain (Wally), Curly (Colleen predeceased, Michelle), and predeceased by Valda White (Joe predeceased), Stanley (Jean predeceased), Cecil (Marlene predeceased) and Dwayne.
Born and raised in Highfalls, George married Henriette in 1966 in Whitefish. He worked many years as control supervisor of the roads department for the Ministry of Transportation. A devoted husband and father, he was very proud of his grandchildren and made his family his priority. He will be sadly missed.
