After a long battle with cancer, on October 29, 2019, Frank Pandolfo of London, passed away at the age of 80. Frank was born in Caccamo, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1961. Beloved husband of Mariella (Sunseri) of 58 years. Much loved father of Mary (Duilio) Tonelotto, Tony (Frances) Pandolfo. Cherished nonno of Claudio, Alex, Alyssa and Anthony. Survived by his sister Franca (late Camillo) Riva, his brother Mimmo (Rosetta|) Pandolfo both of Italy and brother-in-law Joe (Rose) Sunseri of London. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada, Italy and California. Frank was the President of the Marconi Sports Club in the late 70s and brought the men’s soccer team to a successful victory by winning the Ontario Cup. He was also a founding member of the Sicilian Club and its past President for many years. Frank will be dearly remembered for his big, bright and infectious smile that lit up any room he would walk in. Visitors are welcome to John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, on Sunday, November 3, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 o’clock. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 345 Lyle Street on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 11 o’clock. Entombment to follow at Holy Family Mausoleum – St. Peter’s Cemetery. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Blanchette and his team at LRCP for their care as well as the palliative care nurses and PCW for their help. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Lung Association or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
