The passing of Faye Alta (Steeves) Hanson of Fredericton
occurred on Sunday, October 27th, 2019 at the
Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital. She was 82. Born in
Moncton, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Mary (Mills)
Steeves.
Faye was a dedicated stay at home mother, an executive
secretary at the Department of Education, a lifelong Christian, a
great student of history and a prolific crocheter.
Faye is survived by her 2 sons; Lloyd and Lorne (Maggie), a
sister Frances and a brother Ralph (Ginny). She was
predeceased by her husband Aubrey Hanson and a brother Lloyd Steeves
(Betty).
A celebration of life will be held on Monday November
4th, 2019 at 1 PM from Bishop’s
Funeral Home with a tea and coffee to follow. A private burial
ceremony will be held at a later date in Sunny Bank
Cemetery.
