Obituary for Clara Wade
Clara Henrietta Wade of Wallaceburg and formerly of London, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at the age of 86. Clara is the daughter of the late William John & Marion Margaret (Cousins) Payne. Predeceased by her beloved husband Ronald Leroy Wade in 2014. Cherished mother of Robert (Julie), Ronald (Vicki) and Charles Wade. Dear grandmother of Adam, Peter, Candise, Ronald, Jayme, Charles, Leroy, Melissa and Allison and great grandmother of many great grandchildren. As the oldest of her siblings, Clara is the sister of Marion, Bob (late Shirley), Lillian (late Elmer), Gladys (Bert), Elizabeth (Bruce), Edna (Don), Shirley (Tim), Sharon (Dave) and the late Bill (Late Lois). Clara loved road tripping, driving through 48 states and 10 provinces her husband Ron. She is a former employee of McCormick & Company and Conference Cup and enjoyed teaching Sunday School. The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Wednesday. The funeral will be celebrated at the funeral home on Thursday, October 17 at 1 PM. Interment to follow in Riverview Cemetery.
