1962 – 2019
Christopher Soult passed away peacefully on Friday, October 11, 2019 at the age of 57 years at the Peter Lougheed Hospital. Chris was born in Belper, Derbyshire, England on April 19, 1962 where he spent his early stages of life. His family then moved to Canada.
Chris is lovingly remembered by his wife, Marie; his two children, Nick (wife, Colby) and Amber; twin granddaughters, Aleah and Faith; mother, Joyce, sister, Ruth (Martin); brother, David (Margaret), brother, Martin and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Peter.
He was a great loving hardworking man who always put his family first, in his earlier years he enjoyed baseball, fishing, camping, nature hikes and many other hobbies. Chris always enjoyed a good football game, or a great hockey game always cheering on the Boston Bruins. In the last year he loved and enjoyed going to the farmers market with his granddaughters, making special family dinners from his favorite cookbook, and just making sure everyone was happy and loved. Chris’s kind and generous heart will be missed by many. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Dover Community Association, 3133 – 30 Avenue SE, Calgary, Alberta on November 10, 2019 from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm.
