It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Christine Isabel Goll, of Durham on Thursday, October 10, 2019 surrounded by her family at her home. She was 68.
Born in St. Catherines, Ontario on December 25, 1950 to the late Melvin John Lippert and Wilma (Ed) Taylor. Christine was an avid seamstress who loved quilting and making jackets, table runners and purses. Christine loved to bake and was known for her delicious butter tarts and homemade buns. She worked at P & H Foods for twenty plus years before her retirement. Christine fought a strong battle with cancer over the past year and a half and always remained strong.
Survived by loving husband for 50 years, David Goll of Durham. Loving mother of Brian Goll of Hanover and Terry Goll of Barrie. Proud grandmother of Jathan and Cedric Goll. Dear sister of Ron (Jeanette) Lippert of Moffatt and Sharon (Adolf) Rubick of Formosa. Fondly remembered by her sister in law Sharlene (Fred) Muller and brother in law Maurice (Jean Ann) Goll both of London.
Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Monday, October 14, 2019 from 2-4 pm & 7-8:30 pm with Vigil Prayers at 8:30 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 10:30 am, at Holy Family Church, Hanover. Father Gary Schlack officiating Interment in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Carlsrhue
Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to St. John’s Ambulance – Therapy Dog Program would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
