BENDER, Carl William
Peacefully at Watford Quality Care on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, on his 84th birthday. Beloved husband of Donna (nee McDougall) for 61 years. Loving father of Lori (Ray) Pettigrew, and Jeff (Cheryl) Bender. Loved Grandfather of Brad (Kortney), Chris (Lindsay), Kaitlyn, Kelsey (Drew), Shay, Kat, Dan and Nic. Cherished Great-grandfather of Hudson and Brexten. Survived by his sister Ethel (Jack) Boden. Predeceased by his parents William and Catherine Bender, and his siblings Dorothy (Ellwood) Storey, Myrel (Lloyd) Storey, Grace Stephenson, and Ray Bender. Survived by his in laws Bill Stephenson, Vi Bender, Eleanor Whitely, Marion Kernighan, Glenda (Joe) Gerrits, Joan (Bill) Crawford, Norma (Gary) Preszcator, and Jim (Marlene) McDougall. Carl is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will take place at the Forest Legion Branch 176, on Sunday, October 27, 2019, from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
