It is with sadness that we announce Captain M.J. Hubbard’s passing on October 4, 2019. He is survived by Christine (nee Borland), his wife of 42 years. His children Heather (Pete LaBelle), Carolyn (Andreas Aalhus) and Warrick (Tammy MacDonald), also his stepchildren Christopher Robertson, Fiona Robertson, and Alison Allen. He will be fondly remembered by his eleven grandchildren. Predeceased by his first wife Mary Olidon (nee Middleton). A Celebration of his life will be held at the West Chapel of Hulse Playfair and McGarry 150 Woodroffe Ave. (at Richmond Road) Ottawa on Sunday October 13, from 10:00 a.m. Celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow. Donations to the Mercy Ships (mercyships.ca) or the Ottawa Heart Institute instead of flowers would be appreciated.
