McIver, Betty L. R.N.
Betty passed away at the Perth Community Care Centre, Perth on Thursday, October 17th, 2019 at the age of 88 years. She was predeceased in 1989 by her husband Donald R. McIver and her siblings. Betty will be sadly missed by her daughter Lisa (Brian) Rivers, son Dan (Mariann) McIvor and grandson Nathan McIver (fiancée Sheena Cayer). Betty graduated in nursing from the Brantford General Hospital. Betty’s family and friends will gather at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth to honour her life on Tuesday October 22nd, 2019 from 3:00 to 4:00 P.M. There will be a sharing of memories at 4:00 P.M. Betty’s family wish to extend sincere thanks to Dr. Peter Jechel and the staff of both Carolina Court and the Perth Community Care Centre for their outstanding care. Those wishing to make a memorial donation in memory of Betty are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society of Lanark County “Day Away Program”.
