Peacefully passed away at Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care on Sunday, October 20th, 2019 Anne Irwin (nee Gannon) in her 79th year. Loving mother of Larry Irwin and Nina Mullan. Loved mother in law of Stephen Mullan. Devoted and caring Nana of Phillip Mullan. Great grandmother of Parker Brush. Deeply respected and loved sister of Marty Gannon, the late Helen Clouthier, the late Theresa Jones, and the late Gordon Gannon and their families. Dearest lifelong friend of Sandra Lafleche, Joan Henry and Mary Quigley. Immense gratitude for the dedication of the care team and support staff of St. Mary’s. Anne was not only cared for, she was loved. Special thank you to the Mount Hope chaplin and clergy staff as well as all the staff, volunteers and wonderful people we encountered along our journey. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, London on Thursday, October 24th from 2-4 and 6-8 o’clock. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Justin’s Church, 855 Jalna Blvd, London on Friday, October 25th at 10 o’clock. Prayers Thursday afternoon at 3 o’clock. Cremation with interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery at a later date. As an expression of sympathy donations to Heart Links or to the St. Vincent de Paul Society would be greatly appreciated.
