Our loving mother, grandmother and great-grand-mother, Angelle Goudreau passed away on Monday, October 28, 2019.
Predeceased by her husband Wilfrid in 2017 and her son Laurier in 1984, she leaves four children, Adele (Gary) McCook, grandchildren Desiree, Daniel (Toni-Maria); great-grandchildren Maddelena and Eli, Catherine (Robert), great grandson Sebastian; son Donald (Deanna), grandsons Laurier (Christine) Adam (Kristen), great grandson Cameron; son Olivier (Jacqueline), grandson Olivier Jr. (Darcie), great-grandchildren Marek and Theo; granddaughter Chantal, grandson Marc (Michelle), great-grandson Noah, and daughter Anita (Bill) Ostapek, granddaughters Stephanie, Danielle (Drew), and Nicole; brothers Henri (Dorianne), Denis (Marie); sisters Gracia Kipling, and Laurette (Hugh) Edgar.
Angelle cherished her time with family and friends and especially her time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she adored. Her “joie de vie” and incredible hospitality was felt by everyone who was lucky enough to experience the warmth and inviting nature of Angelle and Wilfrid. Their home was a never-ending revolving door of family and friends – the more, the better!
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 7:00 pm at St. Vital Catholic Church, 4905 50 St, Beaumont, AB T4X 1J9. A Private Interment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Angelle’s honour may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, #710-10123 99 Street NW, Edmonton, AB T5J 3H1.
