Leo Martin, 86, of Baie Ste Anne, passed away peacefully at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Friday, October 25, 2019. Born in Baie Ste Anne, he was the son of the late Leo and Alice (Mazerolle) Martin. He was such a kind man and would do anything for his community and church. He would help anyone with errands, especially the seniors of the community. He was also a chef for many years. He was cherished by so many and is going to be dearly missed. Leo Martin is survived by his brothers: Ultrope Martin and Cyril Martin. He will be dearly missed by nephews: Philippe ( Willa) Carroll, Edmond(Sharon), Leo(Wanda), Bernard(Ginette), Alonzo(Victoria), Joey(Kelly), Jean-Paul, Francis, Paul-Emile(Joan), Aquila(Lisa), Jeffrey(Natasha), and Ronald; Nieces: Phoebe(Scott), Antoinette(Adrien), Yvette(Gilles), Carmeline(John), and Carmella, as well as several great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters: Rosemae Martin, Anita Martin, Yvonne Martin, and Alderrick Martin; as well as nephew, Daniel(Ginette). Visitation will take place on Monday, October 28 from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Baie Ste Anne slumberoom. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 29 at 11:00am at Saint Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, with burial to follow in Saint Anne’s cemetery.
